Serbian Gentleman Makes Wheelchairs for Dogs

A computer programmer named Dragan Dimitrijevic wasn’t willing to give up on his pup, Mica, when she suffered a spinal injury. He used simple materials – small wheels, plastic pipes, and old belts to create a wheelchair for her. In no time, she was back to running around and making the most of life. And in no time at all, other pet owners began calling him to request wheelchairs for their disabled animals! In some places in Eastern Europe, there aren’t as many resources dedicated to animal welfare, so these homemade wheelchairs have become a blessing for many animals in the area.
