The Australian government has announced a plan to put down two million wild cats over the next five years to help protect endangered species that these feral cats prey on.
For the second year in a row, mayor Ed Murray turned his office into Kitty Hall for one afternoon and the event led to several of the cats being adopted.
Upon opening the bin, they were surprised to see six adult cats staring back at them. While the cats weren’t in bad health, they would have died if they were left in there.
