Nina Louise was stolen from her Bennettsville home on December 27th, 2013. Owner April Morris was devastated and she even offered a $500 reward without anyone coming forward about the dog. Pit Bulls are stolen quiet often and used in dog fighting, but this never crossed the Morris’s mind. They searched everywhere and put up flyers until they could not walk anymore. Nina Louise was just gone.
The Morris family had give up all hope of finding their dog, until she saw the Humane Society of Marlboro County’s photo of her. She instantly knew that it was Nina Louise, called the Humane Society and after properly identifying the dog, picked her up the next day. Their family was finally reunited, and this is their amazing story.
