UK charity Dog’s Trust has launched an ingenious campaign to help children who are frightened of dogs to become more comfortable around them.
Charity staff have been touring schools and teaching kids all kinds of dog-related lessons, from how to properly stroke their canine companions to what to do if the dog is making them feel scared.
All importantly, they have also covered the proper etiquette which should be upheld when the children want to interact with someone else’s dog, whom they are not familiar with.
Dog’s Trust hope to combat the idea that all dogs are dangerous (especially bully breeds), due to the way dog attacks have been presented within the media recently.
