Pee-Wee is only seven months old, and he’s already reached the hearts of people across the globe.
He’s a special needs pup, who was born without his two front legs. However, according to his human Patrice Brennan, his disability hasn’t stopped him whatsoever from living a healthy life. He still runs around, chasing his siblings and playing with toys, and doesn’t seem to notice he’s any different.
“There are days when I’ll just sit here and watch him and what he does, and it literally brings tears to my eyes; a lot of people feel sorry for him, and I kind of did in the beginning, and he has totally changed that for me,” she says happily. “The word ‘can’t’ just isn’t in his vocabulary.”
Brennan asked for Pee-Wee for her 50th birthday after falling in love with him while working as a secretary for the Mia Foundation in Rochester, NY. He now lives with four other Chihuahuas, and a Shih Tzu named Madison, who is his best friend.
Pee-Wee has gained so much attention from the Facebook page created for him in 2014, he’s received gifts from as far away as Scotland and Spain!
He’s also soon receiving his very own 3D-printed cart, which Brennan has ordered with the help of Turbo Roo, who is another Chihuahua with no front legs. She’s worried that Pee-Wee actually might prefer getting around without it, but only time will tell.
