Mari, the Japanese Shiba Inu is making waves on the Internet this week. Most dogs gain Internet fame for their uniquely good looks, or their heart-warming stories of companionship and love, or perhaps because they’ve performed some outstanding service to community.
Earlier this week, we posted a video of Mari the Shiba “cooking” with his owner, YouTube star, inosemarine. It turns out that inosemarine has an entire YouTube channel dedicated to the antics and adventures of his hilarious Shiba.
Inosemarine’s channel goes back five years and is filled with videos of his dog being a total jerk. At the time of this writing, he has over 60,000 followers on YouTube and that number is climbing every day.
There are dozens of videos and every single one we’ve clicked on has been hilarious. If ever there was a dog worthy of Internet notoriety, we nominate Mari as a front runner! He’s sassy, gorgeous, intelligent… and a total jerk most of the time. And even though we don’t speak Japanese, it’s pretty easy to get the gist of what’s being said. And really, it doesn’t matter what language it’s in as watching this dog’s antics is priceless and will leave you in stitches.
