Tucker is one of 40 dogs and 75 other animals rescued from a suspected puppy mill in Gates County, North Carolina in 2013. All the animals were living in squalor with access to very little food or water, and totally emaciated. The Humane Society of the United States has given Tucker a chance to live, and find a family. He now has a forever home with his mom Florence, who makes a point to tell him every day how beautiful he is. Although Tucker has had a hard life to start, his story definitely has a happy ending.
