MIAMI —Photographer Tomáš Werner has just released his first photo book and the star of it, is none other than his Pomeranian pal named Q. Although Werner has always had an inclination towards photography, he never dreamed that his very first published project would be centred around a dog. Yet, as fate would have it, Werner was living with a roommate during a short stay in Miami, who happened to own the adorable pooch who would soon grow very fond of Werner.
Shortly afterwards, Werner began to take photos of Q, who would eagerly pose and await for the camera to be in front of him. Wenger began to take advantage of colorful Art Deco Miami and he soon had more than a dozen images of Q. Werner says that he was, “in between jobs,” when he started to photograph his adorable roommate. The results? Creatively constructed photos with Q sitting on various objects throughout the series. All of the images can now be found in Werner’s book titled, “A Handbook For Dog Walkers.”
