Robert Bahou was born and raised in Amman, Jordan. Over the last ten years he has become an incredible photographer using many different topics such as: fashion, wildlife, landscapes and more. Robert has taken a shine to equestrian photography with the goal of showing the animals in a fresh new way.
Below are some of the photographs he took over 2014 for a project named “Faces.” They highlight how natural an animal acts in the presence of a camera, since they don’t understand it. You can check out more of his work here.
Working with animals isn’t easy, but he could have fooled us! Here are a bunch more of Robert’s photos of dogs and cats taken with his signature charm.

He has since started a KickStarter for “Animal Soul” – a book of close and personal portraits of dogs and cats, highlighting how expressive an individual they can be. Robert, like many lover of photography, finds that the ultimate form a picture can be in is in print form.
“We can scroll through images on our phones and computers, but they will never carry the same gravity as when we can feel the paper it is printed on.”
Other than the editing of the written content, Robert has put together every element of this book, and is looking for enough backers to have his book printed and distributed. To back Robert up on some of the most beautiful photographs of animals we’ve ever seen, take a look at his KickStarter page to see where your money will go to.
