On Wednesday, the Waterford Township police department in NJ was alerted to a dog that seemed to be trapped in the bottom of a well that was twelve feet deep. They contacted the fire department and launched a rescue mission. Firefighters lowered a ladder into the well and were able to extract the poor, frightened pup and happily, the little guy didn’t put up much of a fight. He was then carried back to the surface and after local news picked up the story, his owner was found! The two have now been reunited and the abandoned well has been closed off so that such an incident cannot happen again. Watch our everyday heroes help a pup in need here:
This is a Happy Ending!!Thank you to everyone who helped share this post. The dog was reunited with its owner and the hole was secured .
