Ariana Grande is an American singer, actress and dog lover. In fact, the 22-year-old celebrity doesn’t just love dogs— she also shares her home with six rescues! She goes above and beyond to get as many dogs adopted as possible.
“Dogs are the most harmless, sweetest babes in the world,” she said. “They show nothing but unconditional love, so they deserve that in return.”
According to the ASPCA, 1.2 million dogs are euthanized each year, and 80 per cent of the animals are actually healthy.

During her Honeymoon tour, Grande visited different rescues and paid for the adoption fees of dogs looking for homes. She sponsored the dogs’ adoptions and brought them in truckloads to different concert venues to get the word out and to allow her fans and their families adopt the dogs when they go to her show.
So far, all the dogs she has sponsored have been adopted.
“My mission is to help as many homeless dogs as I can find loving families who will cherish them,” she told Billboard in her interview.
Grande also shares her home with six rescue dogs of her own. She encourages people to always adopt, and if you aren’t in a place to adopt, to follow rescue groups and post photos of dogs that may need home. The importance is getting the word out there that there are lots of beautiful healthy dogs that need loving homes.
