Our dogs all have their preferences, learning them is part of being a dog owner. Some dogs can be a little more choosey than others though. Here are a few gifts that you can give to the more discerning dogs in your life.
Does your dog sleep on a bed? What many people miss is that there are certain beds designed for certain dogs. There’s different levels of firmness and weight restrictions. It all gets rather complicated. If your dog isn’t sleeping on it’s bed, it might be that it’s not supportive enough. Have you considered an Orthopedic Bed?
Maybe your dog is tired of wearing the same thing every day. A personalized collar will let everyone know that this dog has refined taste. But why stop there? There’s sports team collars and even college ones if your pup is a fan!
There’s some doggies who must smell lovely. Even if the only part of them other dogs will smell is their butt, they need that fragrant shampoo. If your dog insists on the salon treatment, there’s a few options you have, a popular one is oatmeal.
After a nice bath, it’s almost guaranteed to be snuggle time, but no regular blanket will do. No, they need a nice warm fleece one! A warm snuggly doggy is something everyone should see at least once.
You don’t expect them to stay clean forever though, do you? Doggies need to run and play and chew and pull. Lets start with a rope toy, rope toys are soft on teeth but incredibly durable. Fun fact: Rope is one of the oldest inventions humans have been using. They’re wonderful toys, but you must keep them clean.
Most are machine washable. Like this one.
Rope toys are wonderful, you can get in on the action and hold the rope to give your dog something to work against.
Chewing is fun, but after a while you need to stretch your legs. You need to go for a run! But why just run when you can have a KONG too? Every doggy loves KONGs, it’s a fact; try chucking one of these next time you play fetch and see what happens. You can get them in all sorts of colors.
All that fetching and obeyed “Drop it” commands deserve a reward, like some tasty treats! There’s nothing better than when you know you did a great job and you get recognition for it. Maybe you deserve a treat yourself. These kind of treats are sure to let your dog know you care, and you might even enjoy them yourself. In fact, there’s even a warning about this.
Couldn’t hurt to try just one, right?
All this chewing and eating tastes great but it’s a lot of work for your doggies chomper. No worry though as there’s all kinds of toothbrushes and toothpastes to keep their teeth shining. Some even taste like the stuff you’re trying to brush off!
This one has some peanut butter flavored toothpaste with a brush and a finger brush if your dog isn’t comfortable with the big one. Now there’s no excuse for doggy breath!
All this might have your dog feeling rather pampered. That’s great, we love to see our dogs happy, and we also love to see them looking good. If your dogs nails are getting a little long, it might be time to get them trimmed.
Some pups get a little scared of this, if you cut it too short it’s very painful. These clippers will tell you before you cut that you’re in the right spot. It can also help owners who are reluctant to try home nail clipping.
People have been using water filters for a while, but what about your doggies water? Maybe they want softer water with an easy drinking taste. Did you ever think of that? Get your dog one of these to keep their water clean and get the soothing sound of a babbling brook.
With a few of these, you’re sure to please even the choosiest of dogs. Check out Good Dog Deals for more ideas this holiday season. On December the 1st we’re having Cyberdog Monday, our way of kicking off the holiday season.
