MELBOURNE, Australia — Fisherman Alfonse Attard and his beloved dog Jack, were out on their boat in the early hours of January 5th when the boat capsized tossing Attard into the surrounding water. The seventy-five-year-old male clung to the boat in hopes of being rescued when a neighbouring boat approached. The individual’s on the boat managed to pull Attard to safety when the man began to insist that they search the waters for his dog.
Attard has had the Jack Russell Terrier for nearly twenty years and couldn’t bear to part with him. A few individual’s happily volunteered to find Jack and fortunately, it didn’t take long before they turned over the capsized boat and found the dog sitting safely inside the front nose.
The rescuers then brought the frightened pooch back to shore where Attard eagerly awaited his return. The man began to jump up and down for joy and had tears in his eyes as he was able to hold his dog once more. The entire heartwarming moment was captured on video and posted online on January 6th to a lot of positive response from viewers.
