Atlanta – Friday the 28th of November, a dog saved the lives of a family from an enraged gunman.
Slightly earlier, the driver of a blue-gray Taurus almost collided with a family driving a Suburban causing an argument. Later, they were in the parking lot of a strip mall when the road raging man driving the Taurus followed them and opened fire into the back side of their SUV. “About five minutes later, they pulled back through,” says a witness, referring to the man following them after the argument.
“They just rolled right up, they pulled a gun out and started clapping” another eyewitness said.
Inside the car was a woman and her three children and their dog, a German Shepherd named Noah.
Once the man began shooting, Noah jumped in front of the the children to protect them and was hit in the neck.
“The dog took a bullet for the kids so the kids would be safe” a witness told WXIA.
The heroic act would prove fatal to Noah, who then trotted off and died behind a building nearby.
