Shirtless men and a basket full of puppies; that’s a pretty normal bachelorette party right? Well in England it might be.
Richard Curtis, well known for his cult classic film ‘Four Weddings And A Funeral’ has been getting an earful since his partner, Emma Freud, tweeted this photo of a topless stripper and some puppies.
Outraged, comments poured in scathing Freud for treating animals like toys and setting a bad example. Freud did not back down on her choice stating:
“We borrowed them from someone who had a litter. They came with their mum for one hour. Got cuddled and left. No one died.”
Were animal lovers overreacting for was Freud using puppies, not yet weaned from their mother, for some type of bachelorette entertainment?
Freud and Curtis are getting married after a 20 year partnership. They have a variety of animals at home including rabbits, dogs, cats and guinea pigs.
