NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — It was announced today that William Leonard Dodson, the convicted felon, who was arrested and charged with ill treatment animals-torture is now facing additional Federal gun charges.
Dodson, who’s been behind bars since his arrest on the 1st of June 2015, after allegedly binding a terrier mix’s muzzle shut with electrical tape now has these new charges to answer to relating back to an incident back in March of that year.

It’s alleged that Dodson that was in possession of a 92F5 handgun and its accompanying ammunition. If convicted of these new charges Dodson will face a ten year prison term and $25,000 fine.
Dodson will remain jailed through to trial, for which a date has yet to be set. Caitlyn will remain in her foster home, until all court proceedings have been concluded and formal adoption arrangements are made. According to the Charleston Animal Society, Caitlyn continues to smile as she visit parks and beaches, making the most of each and every day.
