MANCHESTER, England — A search is underway for a cruel dog owner, who tied his dog to the balcony, wrapped his mouth shut with a fabric belt and then taunted him with food. Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for thirty-two year only Martin Doyle, who has been found guilty of abusing his Bull Terrier. A disturbing video captured by a CCTV camera, shows the dog sitting with his mouth tied shut as Doyle taunts him with bowls of food and later throws dirty bucket water all over him.

A trial was held at the Manchester Magistrates Court on Wednesday March 23rd, where Doyle was found guilty on three counts of “failing to meet the needs of an animal.” However, Doyle did not show up to the court that day, so now the hunt is on to find him. The RSPCA brought the case against Doyle to the court, after several visits to his property alerted them to the mistreatment of the dog named Morley. David McCormick is prosecuting the case in court on behalf of the RSPCA. During one of the visits in June, 2015, a representative of the RSPCA offered the dog food, nothing that he was “clearly very hungry.”
The RSPCA representatives received the CCTV footage from the summer of 2015 which provided them with solid evidence against Doyle. When Doyle was asked about his treatment of Morley, he simply stated that he was “a f****d up dog,” and that he muzzled him with the belt because he had defecated inside the home. Since being taken from Doyle, Morley has been spending his time at a re-homing centre, where he is learning to trust again and healing his scars. An RSPCA representative revealed a few choice words about the incident, stating “it is deeply disturbing to see someone treat an animal in this manor and this behaviour is totally unacceptable.” Lets hope that they catch Doyle as soon as possible and that Morley has a speedy recovery on his way to finding a loving forever home.
