Kids and dogs spending time together is absolutely adorable! I love the bond that they share. I remember when I was younger, I had a dog named Rex who I thought was the best dog ever in life. He was my buddy ol’ pal. He was a black Labrador Retriever. I absolutely loved him with all of my heart. He taught me responsibility because I had to help feed him, wash him, and I went on walks with him and my father. I have a lot of good memories with the dog that I grew up with. I played with him every single day. I still remember the day that he passed away. I was very hurt by it and it was the very first time that I lost a living being near and dear to my heart. My dog passing away taught me about someone you love passing away and how to deal with that pain.
Now, I’m building new memories with Simba and I also get to see the little one do the same. I love it! It’s so cool to watch them grow up together. They are truly best friends.
I think a kid having a dog is great. The experience teaches them many important things that they can apply in their lives. As stated earlier, it teaches them responsibility and it also teaches them how to care, love, have friendship, and even how to deal with loss. It’s an amazing experience. I love to see the little one interact with our dog Simba. They are so cute together. He lays with her while she naps, they play together, she tries to teach him tricks, she helps feed him, they do tons of things together (all in our sight of course). Simba is very well-behaved with kids, however we never leave him alone with a child. Simba loves the kids and the kids love him!
Adorable right? Told ya.
Aww, kids say the darndest things right?
