A stray cat living in a burnt down house went the extra mile recently, and sought out the help of a nearby family to help her in a very special time of need.
YouTube user Luleymoon recalls the cat, who they named Ginger, began showing up about a month after the house burnt down in search of food. Thankfully, Ginger picked the right house, as they took her to the vet to be microchipped and cleaned up! They assumed she was living in the burnt down house, since she smelled of soot, and when they got words that the house was being torn down, they worried for her safety. They assumed she was either pregnant or had kittens due to her engorged belly, so there were possibly two little ones to worry about as well.
Two weeks later, much to the relief of everyone at the house, Ginger returned with a little ginger baby! As if that wasn’t enough of a delight, an hour later, she snuck out and brought back baby number two!
Knowing that Ginger had grown to trust this family meant so much that there was no question at all that all three of them had to stay until they were healthy.
They’re now in their forever home together, but look at this absolutely adorable photos and video of the lucky family!
