As part of Midnight Moment, a monthly presentation by The Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC) and Times Square Arts, this month’s art installation is on one lone cat. The art installation titled Büsi (Kitty) –shows a lone cat sipping sterilized Swiss milk from a terra-cotta bowl– was originally created by Swiss artists Peter Fischli and David Weiss in 1995.

So why did they choose to use this video from fifteen years ago? “To do something that’s more spectacular than what’s going on in Times Square would be impossible. We wanted to do something very simple and quiet: it was a logical step for us,” says Peter Fischli.
Now until the end of February, between 11:57pm to midnight, you can focus on this kitty, while it focuses on something more interesting while standing in New York City’s busy Times Square.
