This is Kitty. Kitty belongs to Jess and Joey Proulx. You may know Jess and Joey as the owners of the popular nerd culture site, Geekpr0n.
Kitty loves to play fetch, always greets guests and her humans at the door, and is very chatty! She hates being away from people and is affectionate and silly.
Recently, Kitty suddenly became very sick. They had to take her to the emergency vet, and shell out thousands of dollars for assessment, and the surgery that immediately followed, due to multiple issues with her digestive system. Had they waited even another day, she wouldn’t have made it.

I think this is a great opportunity to give back to Jess and Joey for everything they’ve done for the local nerd community and beyond, and help them, if not completely cover, Kitty’s vet expenses.
