Smallbatch Pets Inc is voluntarily recalling a single lot of its smallbatchdog duckbatch sliders due to the potential contamination of Salmonella and Listeria.
Salmonella is a bacteria commonly found in the intestines of animals. Contaminated food usually includes raw or under cooked meat and can be transferred if hands or surface areas aren’t thoroughly washed. Listeria is a serious infection usually caused by eating food contaminated with the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes.
The only batch affect has a LOT #: CO27, Best By Date: 01/27/17 and UPC: 713757339001. The “Best By” date code and lot # is located on the back of the package below the seal.
