CLEVELAND — Award winning photographer, Greg Murray, has captured the wonderful expressions of dogs as they react to peanut butter, in a popular photo series. To date, Murray has photographed 50 dogs for the series, which is titled, ‘For The Love Of Peanut Butter.’ From Great Danes, to Chihuahuas, dogs of all sorts of breeds, all had one thing in common as they explicitly shared their love for the sticky spread.
By the end of the project, Murray hopes to capture 80 dogs in total, with most of the dogs being rescued mixes. For now out of the 50 dogs photographed, only 15 are of a specific breed. The photographer first started the project two years ago, and it has been met with widespread success, with 52 people donating to the books fundraiser, which raised £3,870. Murray initially got the idea to photograph dogs with peanut butter, when he was trying to get a funny picture out of his rescue Mastiff Bailey. Once he used the peanut butter on Bailey’s face, the entire shoot was transformed with hilarious results.
At the end of the day, Murray says his biggest goal is to make people laugh. The expressions the dogs make are putting many smiles on peoples faces, as they contort and twist their tongues around to get to the peanut butter. Check out some of the images from the series below and share with your friends to brighten up their day!
