Redditor TurrPhennirPhan recently saw that another member on the community forum had gotten a dog very similar to his, a German Shepherd/Husky mix. He wanted to let this family know what life is going to be like from now on. His German Shepherd/Husky name Juno was a rescue and has been up to mischief ever since he’s gotten her.

Trying to figure out how to get those food on the counter without being seen.
- This is Juno a German Shepherd/Husky mix.
- “Resting Derp Face” aka “Look Like Yoda I Do”
- Juno watching squirrels.
- Juno is one happy dog.
- Because she gets so much love from her family!
- Trying to figure out how to get those food on the counter without being seen.
- She swims forever without getting tired.
- “Contemplating the meaning of life… or if there’s anything she can chew into oblivion today.”
- Always looking for food.
- Juno enjoys sleeping in beds that are too small for her now.
- “My best four-legged friend and me. Wouldn’t trade her for the world. This is the life I’ve chosen.”
- “…. this is the life I’ve chosen.”

I have a husky shepherd mix and I gotta tell you life has never been the same since I got her, but as you, I wouldn’t trade her for the world either. She has brought out every emotion possible in me, but she’s mine for life.
They march in on iron paws covered in velvet and take over thoroughly, absolutely 100%. I have 3 German shorthaired pointers and a 14 year old rehomed golden retriever and my eldest German, Freda is the absolute boss in the home. Can’t remember what life was like before dogs!
I believe Juno must be of a healthy weight but I’m so used to seeing overweight dogs in my neighbourhood that it pains my heart a little to see Juno so “thin”. I find that overweight dogs r less active n thus, less “destructive”.
Of course, e best thing Man can give to a dog is companionship (aka friendship), peppered with lots of love.
I love your comment “this is the life I’ve chosen.” It is SOO apt.
