PAINESVILLE, Oh. — Judge Michael Cicconetti, known for delving out creative punishments to offenders in his courtroom, says he wishes he could throw puppy killer, Michael Sutton into the dumpster. Twenty-three-year-old Sutton, pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges last week, following an incident where he threw a puppy out of his apartment window. The man admitted to the court that he threw the Lab-Pit Bull mix from his sixth-floor apartment, after the pup used his bed as a toilet on May 3rd.
Sutton then tried to hide the pup’s body in a dumpster, where it was discovered by building staff who called the police. Following an investigation by authorities and a humane officer, who says it was the worst case of cruelty she has ever seen, Sutton was arrested. During his sentencing on Monday May 16th, Judge Cicconetti told Sutton, “Oh, would I like to put you in a Dumpster? Oh, yeah. I would love to do that.”
The judge added that Sutton is a ‘revolting’ and ‘cruel’ human being and wishes he could use one of his creative punishments on him. However, because Sutton is a repeat offender, Judge Cicconetti could not. Instead, Sutton was sentenced to six months in jail and five years probation.
