Masha is a long-haired stray cat that roams a neighborhood in Obninsk, Russia. When a baby was abandoned outside of an apartment building located in her area, her motherly instincts kicked in and she crawled into the box with the baby, keeping him warm in otherwise deadly temperatures. When one of the residents came outside, Masha began meowing loudly, alerting the woman to the baby’s presence. Thanks to Masha, the baby was rushed to a local hospital and has been doing fine ever since then. Watch this amazing heroine here:
