What this woman did for her friends and their 7 cats will absolutely blow your mind!
Her name is Rebecca Mountain and after her friend Eliza and her partner Tiffany bought their first house together in February 2014, she decided to give them the best house welcoming gift ever: a catification of their house.

The cats of Eliza and Tiffany were going to meet for the first time and they were about to start a new life together with 3 dogs, so what better way to make the transition smoother than to give the cats a space of their own.
After some planning, they decided the best idea was to create a “kitty super highway”. This way the cats could feel safe having multiple points of access and they could travel from one end of the house to the other without setting paws on the floor.
Rebecca did a great job taking full advantage of the space the house had. Not every house has the potential this one does but without Rebecca’s creativity, the result wouldn’t have been the same anyway.
She installed an extra-large window perch and custom shelves all around the house to serve as walkways. She put a 6ft tall cat tree with hammocks that gives access to the catwalk and the shelves, and a central post that besides being also an access point, is an ideal scratching spot for them. Another very cool idea was a leaf wall, made out of shelves that look like leaves growing off branches.
The whole project took around 3 months but they were all very happy with the results. The cats’ transition went smooth and they all live in harmony in their incredible catified house.
